Turbo charger housing leak testing
Increased power, improved fuel consumption and reduced exhaust gas pollution is driving the high growth rate of turbo charged diesel engines.
Turbo charger housings are typically castings that are machined for precision assembly. Both raw and machined castings are routinely leak tested to detect manufacturing flaws. Pressure decay testing to a leak rate specification of 5 sccm at 20 psig.
Manual load and unload pressure decay test stand utilizing a Sentinel I-24 leak test instrument. Designed to accommodate potential future robotic interface.
