Home » Hydrostatic Testing
Hydrostatic testing is a method of testing pressure vessels for leaks, structural strength, and pressure tightness. The process generally involves filling the vessel with an incompressible liquid (usually water) and pressurizing the vessel to a specified test pressure. Hydrostatic testing helps maintain the safety standards and durability of the tested vessel. This process is commonly used for testing pipes/pipelines, plumbing, gas cylinders, and boilers.
Cincinnati Test Systems can design, build, and integrate hydrostatic testing applications for burst, leak, flow, calibration, or integrity testing of customer parts and components. Our hydrostatic testing systems utilize hydraulics, controls, and custom tooling to collect complete, accurate data for test evaluation.
